The colonial zone is amazing. You’ll find a mix of tourism with locals who have lived their entire lives in the area. You can get anywhere by foot and/or an Uber/taxi. Thanks to modern technology, you’ll have access to a US-based phone and a few speed-dials to help with any questions/concerns you may have. On our street specifically, you’ll mainly find local families and less tourists (what we ourselves prefer). The neighbors are welcoming but for the most part don’t speak English… a great chance to brush up on your Spanish.

Getting Around:
We have street parking available and taxis can take you to the street. This said, to catch a taxi, you’ll need to walk 1 block to the ocean side. You can catch a cab immediately behind our building at a restaurant (which I recommend) D’ Luis Parrillada.
